How To Play

lone.AI is easy to learn but hard to master. Upon undocking, you commence with a basic AI ship. Soon, enemies attack from every direction, prompting you to defend yourself to survive and acquire loot. Loot includes credits, cargo, modules, and more. Utilize credits and cargo to trade or purchase more upgrades for your ship. Some upgrades are temporary for the current run, while others are permanent and persist across all runs. Modules offer specific effects but only last for the duration of the run.

A run concludes upon either defeat, or victory against the boss, the alien mothership appearing at the end of your run time of 1000. Upon defeat, you can submit your high scores and start anew with any newly acquired upgrades. Victory against the boss grants you triumph. Post-victory, the game intensifies in various ways, potentially unlocking new upgrades to aid you against heightened challenges. With increased difficulty comes the opportunity for higher scores, propelling you to compete for the top spot on the leaderboards.
